Our Aim: To give a warm welcome to any who would like to worship the Lord, to know more
about the Christian faith or just need a quiet place to contemplate.
For Baptists the church is always the people who gather together to worship and to serve God and the community.  The building is simply the meeting house, sometimes called the chapel.
On that understanding of church there is evidence of a Baptist church meeting around Arlington Green since the 1740s, if not earlier.  The early Baptists were identified as Nonconformists, or Dissenters, from the Established Church; the Church of England.  Thankfully our relationship with our Anglican brothers and sisters has greatly improved over the years, and we will now meet together on several occasions during the year.........Click for more.
