The Bible Course at Arlington Baptist

Starting Friday 7 November, we warmly invite you to join The Bible Course — a weekly gathering where anyone, whether you’re new to the Bible or have been reading it for years, can grow in understanding, ask questions, and see how God’s story is woven through every page. Refreshments will be available, and each session encourages conversation, reflection, and connection.

What is The Bible Course?

• The Bible Course is a free small-group resource designed to help individuals see how Bible characters, stories, and themes connect across the whole of Scripture. 

• The course runs over eight sessions, each combining video teaching, group discussion, personal reflection, and daily readings.

• The 2025 “New Edition” refreshes the approach with more visual elements, faster pacing, and contributions from biblical scholars — aiming to make the Bible feel more accessible and alive today.

Why join?

• The course helps you see the “big picture” of the Bible — how the events and writings from Genesis, through the prophets, to the Gospels and Revelation form one cohesive story of God’s redemption.

• It can deepen confidence in reading Scripture for yourself, equipping you with tools to engage biblical texts—not just passively consume them.

• The course also includes testimonies — personal stories of how the Bible has impacted lives — to show how Scripture is not just ancient text, but something that speaks today.

What to expect at Arlington Baptist

• We will meet every Friday evening, beginning 7 November, in a relaxed setting with refreshments.

• Each session will be guided, with video segments, open discussion, and time for personal reflection and group prayer.

• You don’t need to bring anything special — just a willingness to explore, ask questions, and participate.

Whether you’ve never read the Bible deeply before, or you’ve been studying Scripture for years, The Bible Course offers a fresh and engaging way to see how all of it — old and new — points to God’s work in the world and invites us into relationship with Him.
