Bibury Open Gardens Festival 2026

As part of this year's Bibury Open Gardens Festival, Arlington Baptist Church is pleased to host two talented local craftspeople in the Schoolroom.

Nav China, a basketmaker from North Cerney, will be demonstrating the traditional craft of willow basketmaking. Nav grows her own willow on the banks of the River Churn and creates beautiful handcrafted pieces using time-honoured techniques. Throughout the day, she will alternate with Beth Bruce-Gardner, a sustainable florist, who will be showcasing creative floral displays and arrangements.

We are grateful to the Worshipful Company of Basketmakers for their generous support in funding Nav's demonstration and helping to promote this historic craft.

The church will be open as part of the festival on Sunday 7th June, from 11:00am to 3:30pm. Visitors are warmly invited to come along, explore the demonstrations, and enjoy all that the festival has to offer.

Festival entry tickets can be purchased in advance through the Bibury Festivals website, with discounted rates available for advance bookings.

We look forward to welcoming visitors to Arlington Baptist Church during this special community event.
